Terms of Service

1. The Service

MakeYourOwnChatbot ("the Service") lets you build an AI chatbot for your website through a guided interview, then embed it on your site with a script tag. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Beta Status

The Service is currently in beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time, and we do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted availability. We recommend against relying on the Service for mission-critical workflows during the beta period.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual interval, depending on the plan you choose. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create, distribute, or promote illegal content;
• Abuse the AI endpoints, including automated bulk requests, attempts to circumvent usage limits, or use of the chat infrastructure for purposes other than operating your chatbot.

5. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or create risk for other users or the Service itself.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakeYourOwnChatbot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including responses generated by chatbots you build with it.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
