1. What We Collect

MakeYourOwnChatbot collects only what it needs to run the Service:

• Your account email address and name;
• The chatbot configuration you provide during the guided interview (business details, persona, greeting, and similar settings);
• Usage counters, such as message volume, used to enforce plan limits.

2. Service Providers

We use a small number of processors to operate the Service:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting;
• Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store your card details);
• Anthropic — the AI provider that processes chat messages to generate responses.

3. Visitor Chat Messages

When a visitor chats with a chatbot embedded on your website, their messages are processed by the AI provider (Anthropic) to generate replies. These conversations are not stored by the Service by default.

4. Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication — keeping you signed in to your account. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@makeyourownchatbot.com.

6. No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell personal data. Ever.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
